The Casting Couch Players
Greg Lackner is a working actor, voice artist and freelance writer based in Chicago, Illinois. He has been in many plays in Chicago, was a featured voice in the dramatic audio version of the popular “Left Behind” series and regularly recreates old radio shows on stage. He has written marketing and public relations materials for nonprofits, educational publishers, Web-based information providers, college foundations and many more. He can be reached at email@example.com.
Pam Turlow works extensively in all facets of voice-over work. Her specialty is character voice work, but she’s done tons of commercials (both national and local), educational projects (including the Sunsprouts early reader books) and books on tape (has voiced numerous characters for the “Left Behind” audio series). She has a plethora of stage credits including such favorite roles as The Baker’s Wife in “Into the Woods” and Mrs. Lovett in “Sweeney Todd” (After Dark Award Recipient). When she’s not romancing the microphone, she’s happily romancing her wonderful husband, Ben Dooley (fellow actor and also an amazing life coach who teaches life coaching for actors at Act One Studios), or cuddling with their significantly adorable beagle, Mabel. By the way — we ARE the music makers and we ARE the Dreamers of Dreams…
The Casting Couch Radio Show would like to welcome Charlie Channel as our first official announcer. Though this talented man will be joined by others in this duty, his virgin experience on the couch should always hold a special place in his heart. It does in ours. Charlie is a talented voice artist, actor and model with an extensive background in commercials, narration, on-camera, modeling and music. Check out his website.
Circus-Szalewski (an accomplished performer in the three rings of Stage, Screen, and Television) is a contributing writer in addition to voicing numerous characters for us. We’re so glad the circus has come to our town.
Laura H. Schaefer, a contributing voice actor and writer on our show, is a graduate of the renowned Second City Players Workshops. With her skills and talents as a comedy actress and writer, Laura went on to perform in many comedy clubs in Chicago. She’s written and performed in countless radio commercials and voiceovers. With a repertoire of exciting characters just dying to come out (insisting on coming out), Laura entertains the masses at academic, corporate, municipal and private functions, as well as the cheering throngs of the Casting Couch Radio Show. She can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
